When a song gets streamed on the Hub, the artist (label) receives royalties for it.
Christian Music Hub will offer an equal allocation between the artist (label) and the hub.
Half and half.
• To calculate net revenue, the hub will subtract the money we collect from subscriptions to
pay for App Store and Google Play fees.
• From the net profit, 50% will be collected by the hub.
• The other 50% will be shared amongst all artists (labels) and will be
determined by streamshare.
• Streamshare will be calculated by tallying the total number of streams in a given fiscal
year.
• This means, the amount of money artists (labels) receive will vary year on year dependent
on subscriptions and streamshare.
Royalty payments happen once a year. Schedule of payment will be determined by the hub.
Reiterating that the hub does not engage with any third party representatives. Royalties will be
paid directly to the artists (labels).
Your listeners, songs, and playlist stats update in realtime. Plays can be seen on your artist
page on the app.
Streams are counted in the hub when a song is streamed for more than 30 seconds.
For listener/song stats, those will be made available from when your music was first
available on the hub.
